Hank’s Giardiniera is a fourth genERATiON family treasure.

Hank’s Uncles Frank and Vito (Vito’s - 1955)

Henry “Hank” Tibensky was dipped in Italian Beef culture from day one. Born ‘n raised in Oak Park, Illinois, the “epicenter of beef culture” in Chicagoland. His aunt’s family ran a beloved beef ‘n pizza joint - Vito’s - on Chicago’s west side for over 40 years.

A long-time resident of NYC, Hank revived his family’s old-school recipe and opened Hank’s Juicy Beef in 2013, serving up his favorite Chicago-style sandwich as Manhattan’s first, and only, Italian Beef specialty shop.

Every one of Hank’s Juicy Beefs is finished with his homemade giardiniera — a mix of pickled hot peppers and veggies with Italian herbs and spices in a unique oil blend — to give its one-of-a-kind crispy kick. From “Windy City to to the World”, Hank’s Giardiniera is the perfect crunchy topping to sandwiches, pasta, pizza, hamburgers, eggs, and more.
